COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

These Community Guidelines (“Guidelines”) apply to all Users and all community-facing and interactive features on the Show Streamz Platform, including chat, Watch Rooms, VIP Meet & Greet Rooms, comments, clips, profiles, event pages, messages (if enabled), and any other interactive tools (collectively, “Community Features”).

These Guidelines exist to protect Fans, Talent, Venues, Promoters, Production Vendors, and Show Streamz from harm, abuse, fraud, and illegal activity and to preserve a premium, safe fan experience.

Report issues: use in-app reporting tools (where available) or email support@showstreamz.com. For legal notices (including DMCA), contact legal@showstreamz.com.

1. Core Principles

You agree to:

  • Treat people with respect and engage in good faith.

  • Keep the environment safe — no threats, harassment, exploitation, or targeted abuse.

  • Respect rights — no piracy, no stream key sharing, no IP infringement, no doxxing, no privacy violations.

  • Follow the law and comply with these Guidelines and any event-specific rules.

  • Respect the experience — don’t derail shows, flood chat, or disrupt VIP rooms.

2. Respect and Safety

2.1 Harassment and Abuse

Do not harass, bully, demean, or target individuals or groups. This includes:

  • hate speech, slurs, or dehumanizing language;

  • repeated unwanted contact; coordinated harassment (dogpiling/brigading);

  • sexual harassment; intimidation; or abusive “callouts” intended to shame or threaten.

2.2 Threats, Violence, and Extortion

Do not make threats of violence, encourage violence, intimidate, coerce, extort, blackmail, or make “pay or else” demands.

2.3 Impersonation and Misrepresentation

Do not impersonate Show Streamz staff, Event Providers, Production Vendors, talent, public figures, or other Users. Do not misrepresent identity to deceive, defraud, or harm. Parody must be clearly labeled and not deceptive.

2.4 Doxxing and Personal Data

Do not share or solicit another person’s private information, including home address, phone number, personal email, IDs, banking details, or real-time location. Even if information appears “public elsewhere,” using it to harass, threaten, or target is not allowed.

3. Illegal, Harmful, or Exploitative Content

3.1 Illegal Activity

Do not promote, facilitate, or instruct illegal activity.

3.2 Exploitation and Non-Consensual Content

Do not post or promote exploitation, coercion, trafficking, or non-consensual intimate imagery. Any content involving minors in a sexual context will be removed and may be reported to law enforcement.

3.3 Self-Harm

Do not encourage self-harm. If you believe someone is in imminent danger, contact emergency services and report the situation to support@showstreamz.com.

3.4 Graphic Violence/Gore

Do not post graphic violence or gore. Limited documentary/news context may be handled differently based on safety risk, audience expectations, and applicable law, and we may remove content at our discretion.

4. Piracy, Circumvention, and IP Abuse

Show Streamz is a rights-sensitive platform. Do not:

  • record, screen-capture, rip, redistribute, or restream Events/VOD (including via Discord/Zoom/Twitch/YouTube/TikTok/screen share);

  • share, request, sell, or expose stream keys, RTMP endpoints, protected URLs, or access tokens;

  • post “workarounds” to bypass paywalls, DRM, watermarking, geo-blocks, tier gates, or session limits;

  • upload or post unlicensed copyrighted content (including music, film/TV clips, protected sports footage) without proper rights/clearances.

Report IP issues: legal@showstreamz.com (see DMCA Policy).

5. Fraud, Manipulation, and Spam

5.1 Fraud/Scams/Phishing

Do not run scams, phishing attempts, fake giveaways, or impersonation for money. Do not direct Users to off-platform payments through deception.

5.2 Engagement Manipulation

Do not use bots, scripts, click farms, fake tipping, or coordinated manipulation of views/chat/engagement metrics.

5.3 Chargeback Abuse

Do not engage in chargeback abuse, coordinated refund fraud, or false fraud claims.

5.4 Spam and Unwanted Promotion

Do not flood chat/comments with repeated messages, spam links, referral codes, or unrelated promotion. Event Providers may set stricter event-specific rules for promotions and links.

6. Privacy, Consent, and Personal Boundaries

6.1 Sharing Private Communications

Do not post private messages, emails, DMs, or call recordings/screenshots without consent, especially when used to harass, shame, or expose someone.

6.2 Consent and Boundaries

Respect boundaries in Watch Rooms and chat. Do not pressure Users to reveal personal information. Do not engage in persistent unwanted contact.

6.3 Targeting Based on Protected Traits

Do not target or harass someone based on sensitive traits (race, religion, nationality, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, etc.).

7. Content Standards for Profiles, Names, Event Pages, and Clips

7.1 Profiles and Usernames

Do not use profile names, avatars, bios, or posts that include hate speech, threats, explicit sexual content, impersonation, illegal activity promotion, or links designed to distribute malware, piracy, or scams.

7.2 Event Pages and Promotions (Event Providers)

Event Providers must not:

  • misrepresent lineups, “special guests,” access windows, VIP entitlements, or ticket terms;

  • use deceptive pricing claims or hide material restrictions;

  • encourage piracy, credential sharing, or bypass of Platform protections.

Violations may lead to event removal, go-live delay, feature disabling, payout holds, or account termination.

7.3 Clips and Highlights

Clips must follow event permissions and Platform rules. Do not create or share clips that reveal private information, encourage harassment, or facilitate piracy.

8. Watch Rooms, Live Chat, and Participation Controls

8.1 Watch Rooms Are Privileged Spaces

Hosts may have moderation controls (mute/remove) where enabled. Show Streamz may also moderate rooms and chat.

8.2 Guest Access (If Enabled)

Guest viewers (if enabled) must comply with these Guidelines. Abuse may result in session/device blocking.

8.3 Real-Time Controls During Live Events

To protect experience and safety, Show Streamz and/or Event Providers may enable controls such as slow mode, keyword filtering, link blocking, auto-moderation, and restricting chat to paid users/subscribers/verified accounts.

9. VIP Meet & Greet Rooms

VIP Meet & Greet Rooms are premium interactive experiences hosted by Event Providers (Talent/Venue/Promoter). They may include live video/audio participation, moderated Q&A, or other engagement formats.

9.1 Higher Standard of Conduct

VIP rooms require elevated professionalism and respect. Do not:

  • harass, embarrass, or sexually harass talent or participants;

  • request private contact info, meetups, or push off-platform transactions;

  • attempt to “bait” talent or other Users into conflict;

  • disrupt the room, talk over others, or refuse moderator direction.

9.2 No Recording / No Redistribution

VIP rooms are private premium experiences. Do not record, screen-capture, or redistribute. Do not share VIP access links or credentials.

9.3 Event Provider Host Responsibilities

Event Providers hosting VIP rooms are responsible for:

  • clearly stating VIP eligibility, access windows, and participation rules on the Event page/checkout;

  • providing a host/moderator for each VIP room (see Section 10);

  • enforcing rules in-room, including removing disruptive participants;

  • ensuring any minors (if permitted) are handled in compliance with law and disclosed safety rules.

9.4 Safety and Privacy Controls

Event Providers may disable camera/mic privileges, require “raise hand,” limit participation, or remove participants to protect safety and privacy.

9.5 VIP Room Safeguards

Because VIP rooms carry elevated risk for abuse and piracy, Show Streamz may apply stricter controls such as verified accounts only, stronger watermarking, additional authentication, and more aggressive session limits. We may end a VIP room early if we detect safety, piracy, or compliance risk.

10. Event Provider Moderation Responsibilities

Event Providers are responsible for ensuring their Events (including chat, Watch Rooms, and VIP Meet & Greet Rooms) are appropriately moderated.

10.1 Moderator Coverage Guidance

Event Providers must provide moderation resources proportional to expected audience size and risk profile. Baseline guidance (may be adjusted by Show Streamz for risk):

  • Small events (up to ~500 concurrent viewers): at least 1 dedicated moderator during live runtime.

  • Medium events (~500–2,500 concurrent viewers): at least 2 moderators.

  • Large events (~2,500–10,000+ concurrent viewers): at least 3–6 moderators and/or a moderation lead, depending on risk factors (artist profile, audience volatility, prior incidents, VIP rooms enabled).

10.2 VIP Meet & Greet Moderator Requirement

If VIP rooms are enabled, Event Providers must provide at least 1 dedicated host/moderator per VIP room, plus additional support where multiple VIP rooms run concurrently or where risk factors exist.

10.3 Moderator Authority and Escalation

Event Providers must ensure moderators understand available tools (mute/remove), escalation procedures, and how to preserve evidence for reporting.

10.4 If Moderation Is Insufficient

If Show Streamz reasonably determines moderation is insufficient, we may require additional moderators, disable interactive features, place chat into slow mode, delay go-live, or suspend the Event until adequate controls are in place.

11. Chat Policy (Links, Keywords, and Event-Specific Rules)

11.1 Links and External Promotions

Show Streamz may restrict links in chat. Do not share links that:

  • distribute pirated streams, ripped content, stream keys, or protected URLs;

  • contain malware, phishing, or scams;

  • solicit deceptive off-platform payments;

  • reveal personal data.

11.2 Keyword Filtering and Live Moderation

We may use keyword filtering and automated moderation to reduce hate speech, threats, explicit content, and piracy/circumvention attempts. These controls may vary by Event and may be stricter for VIP rooms.

11.3 Event-Specific Rules

Event Providers may apply stricter rules (e.g., no links, no promotions, language rules). Users must follow event-specific rules where disclosed.

12. Reporting, Investigations, and Cooperation

12.1 Reporting

Report violations through in-app tools or support@showstreamz.com with Event name/date, usernames, timestamps, screenshots, and a brief description.

12.2 Investigations

We may review chat logs, session/access data, and moderation history. We may preserve evidence where legally required.

12.3 False Reports

Knowingly false reports intended to harass or retaliate may result in enforcement action.

13. Enforcement

We may take action to enforce these Guidelines and protect the Platform, including content removal, link blocking, slow mode, keyword filtering, temporary mutes, removals from rooms, suspensions, terminations, and device/session/IP blocking for repeated abuse or piracy. For Events, we may disable features, delay go-live, suspend an Event, require additional moderation, and/or apply payout holds consistent with the Terms. Severe violations may result in immediate termination and referral to rights holders or law enforcement where appropriate.

14. Appeals

If you believe an action was taken in error, email support@showstreamz.com with your account email, relevant details, and supporting evidence. We may uphold, modify, or reverse actions consistent with safety and legal obligations.

15. Updates

We may update these Guidelines and will post a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Guidelines.
